Besides good training schedules, many athletes need personal attention and feedback on how the training sessions are performed. These aspects are central to my coaching. If you have a question or would like to discuss a topic, I am always there for you. I am also closely involved in the execution of your training and you regularly receive feedback and tips about how your training is going.
The coaching is very varied. Some athletes are already very experienced but have difficulty making progress themselves, these athletes get help to make the next step with smart schedules. Other athletes may have done a triathlon before, but they are still searching how to tackle this, also in this coaching will help you enormously.

Individualized Training (Premium package)
Every athlete is different. However, the same zones are often used for every athlete, based on FTP. With individualised training, the training zones will be determined per athlete. Advanced software is used to create a personal profile for every athlete.
Multi seasonal overview
To continuously keep making progress, it is important to progressively increase the training load, not only in the current season but also over several seasons. To keep an eye on this, data from recent years is being monitored.
Smart workout targets
Classical trainingzones are made for the average individual, however every person is different and unique. With the use of WKO software personalized trainingzones and training targets are determined.
Strenghts and limiters
Strengths and weaknesses will be determined and a profile will be made. This profile can be used to train very goal orientated to the specific requirements of the event for which you are training.
Empty your battery
Do you train too hard? Or maybe you could have pushed a little bit more? For each training you can see how deep you have gone and whether more or less rest is needed.
Prediction of your bike split
With the help of Best Bike Split a detailed plan is made of your most important races. The race course will be uploaded and the software calculates how fast you are on that course. You can play with this yourself by, for example, adjusting your power or weight and seeing what your gain / loss will be on this course.

At the end of 2017 I started training under the guidance of David. By structurally and specifically training I have made great progress and have been able to win my first race. With David's support I know for sure that I can continue this progess in the future.
Since the beginning of 2019, David has been taking care of my training plan every week. The goal was to improve my personal records at different running distances and the main goal was to finish an Ironman 70.3 within 5 hours. The coaching was excellent with the use of Trainingpeaks, also when adjustments were needed. All goals so far have been achieved beyond expectations and that is why I am more than satisfied with David's coaching and the method he uses.
After training on his own for 4 years, now trying to make big progress this year under the guidance of David. After years of strenght training and occasional participation in a running competition, I was looking for a new sporting challenge. I had heard of the Ironman and decided at the end of 2018 to register for half an Ironman in Luxembourg. I didn't have triathlon experience, not even a racing bike. After six months of training, I lacked structure and knowledge I needed to prepare well. I found David and we quickly made an appointment. Because of David's personalized coaching and training schedules with challenging workouts, I was able to train in a structured way and I gained much confidence in the process. David prepared me for the Ironman 70.3 in Luxembourg in 4 months and it has now been completed. Thank you David!
For the first time in may years I train with a goal! I have been wandering in the dark for a long time but now I found motivation and a reason to train. And I have taken help, I think one should if you are like me, overtraining or undertraining. With David I have structure and everyweek there is something new. Fun and motivational!
My goal - to be a finisher of Ironman Kalmar 2020. David and I had contact during the summer of 2019 and it became very natural that he would be the one to coach me towards my goal. David is genuine and talented. He’s also very involved in my training. David started coaching me in August and after just a couple of weeks with structured training I noticed a big difference. I started training for triathlon in 2018, not knowing how to train exactly. Some swimming, cycling and running, then it should be fine. But my results were disappointing! Everyone flew past me, and that had to change! I came in contact with David and together we discussed my goals. Before I started training under the guidance of David "I juts did something and hoped for the best". Every training as fast as I could and always looking for the max. Overload and overtraining were on the lure. Since a few months I train under the guidance of David and I am now much more focused on technique and training in different heart rate zones. This approach is really starting to pay off because I am faster and fitter than ever. The highlight so far was the Ironman 70.3 in Zell am See, Austria. On to the next challenge!
I started training with David as a relevant novice to the sport in mid-2019, with Ironman Barcelona as my goal for October of that year.
He came with an extremely professional approach to training and with the way it was structured, I never felt drained or over trained. Along the way David was also always available for questions and feedback and I felt extremely supported throughout the process.
The goal leading up to IM Barcelona was to finish in 12 hours 30 minutes and I managed to do it in 10 hours and 40 minutes, surprising even myself. Can’t recommend David enough!
