DVO Coaching is not a coaching factory. I believe in customization and believe that every athlete deserves personal attention, with a coach who understands how you feel and how the training sessions go. To make this possible, I only coach a limited group of athletes. It doesn't matter what level you're at; whether you want to win races or do your first triathlon, I coach athletes of all levels. What motivates me is making a contribution to achieving your goals. Together, we work daily to get better and achieve goals.

About me
I am David van Oosten, a certified endurance coach with years of (personal) endurance sports experience from regional to international level. I come from the Netherlands but I live in Sweden (SkΓ₯ne).

Ironman Copenhagen
I've been in the triathlon sport for years, but I've never really trained with a schedule for a long time. Often I doubt whether I did the right thing. Is the intensity good, am I getting enough rest, is the frequency that good? Time to be accompanied! David looks at the options and takes into account your wishes and goals. He is easy to reach when you are unsure or not working out for a while. Very happy to have a coach like David and, last but not least, an Ironman medal from Copenhagen in my pocket!

First time success
Since the beginning of 2019, David has taken care of me and set up my weekly training plan with a view to the scheduled races I wanted to do this year. The goal was to set my personal records at various walking distances, but mainly to finish half an Ironman within 5 hours. The consultation here went well via Trainingpeaks, even if adjustments were necessary. The goals have all been achieved beyond expectations so far, which is why I am more than satisfied with David's guidance and the method he uses.
